Post subject: Survivor finale- What would you have done

On Survivor Dreamz promised Yau-Man that if he gave him a truck he would give him the immunity idol (if he won it) if they both made it to the Final Four. Dreamz did win the idol but renaged on his promise and Yau was voted out.

What would you have done? I don't think I would've accepted the truck with that kind of stipulation attached.

What Dreamz did was so wrong. It's one thing to strategize but to completely screw another person over in the name of money is wrong. Dreamz should have either told Yau to keep the truck or he should have kept his word. I'm so glad he didn't win though!

I actually JUST finished watching this as I had to work last night...man was it hard avoid all TV and radio until I could watch it LOL.

What he did was wrong. I know, it's a game, but IMO your word should mean something, game or not. I also believe that no matter what Dreamz says, when he took the deal, I believe he meant to keep good on his promise. UNTIL he found out that there would be 3 up for the million instead of just 2. That changed everything, and I believe that is why he changed his mind. I also think at tribal council *sp?* when he decided to keep immunity, he should have said to Yau that he was giving him back the truck.
I never liked Dreamz, he's a liar and so two faced it made me sick. He also annoyed me to no end. I believe he used his life for sympathy (as much as he'd like to deny it) because that would be the only reason to keep bringing it up at tribal.

I'll quit rambling now.

What a liar that Dreamz is. Now I know they lie left and right on that show, but he did give his word and at the time, he meant it. I agree with Tiffer- he changed his mind when he found out that all three were finalists. But he should have known that NO ONE would vote for him after pulling something like that. And he just kept on lying about it. He's no actor and it shows!!! Hopefully, it will come back to bite him in the --I have a Potty Mouth--.

When he took the deal, he understood he would probably be voted out. If that is the case, then it did not matter if there was a final three, or a final two, he wasn't going to be there. It should also been obvious to him that he would stand little if any chance of winning. Had he kept his word he would have probably made a lot of money off endorsments, and also had job offers from across the country. It would have been much better to have kept his word in the long run IMO, even if only for selfish reasons.

I was disappointed. I thought for sure he would be a man and keep his word. He can rationalize it all he wants. It may have been a game but he made a promise. I also think he should've given the truck back when he kept the idol. I don't see how either him or Cassandra made it to the final four in the first place. I would've liked to have seen a final three of Earl, Yau-Man and Boo. If Yau-Man couldn't have won I'm glad Earl did.

I don't understand why he made the deal in the first place. A truck over a chance of a million dollars? Maybe he never meant to keep his word. Sad

When asked, the jury all said they would have voted for Yau if Dreamz hadn't lied.

I think they still should have voted for Yau anyway Cool

My first choice would have been Yau-man to win but after Dreamz did that anyone winning but him was fine with me

I must say though that in the final tribal council where the jury was allowed to adress them I felt that Alex and Lecy showed very poor sportsmanship and IMO behaved like spoiled children in the tantrums they each threw when it was their turn to speak. Game or no game I think they should have spoke respectfully and presented themselves in a way that they could be proud of when they watched the tapes...

I still can't figure out why Leci was so damned angry at everyone!!! She kept whining that she wanted to go home and kept changing her mind, and then when they finally decided to vote her out she mad at them for doing what she wanted?!?!?! Shocked
If I was Cassandra I would have slapped Leci with the way she talked her. That was rude and completely uncalled for.

Yua-Man really surprised me at how well he did at challenges, he looked so frail at the beginning I didn't think he would make it.
In a way its his fault for trusting a back stabbing cheat like Dreamz.
Leci is just plain syco.

I wish they did Survivor different. The person that wins the most challenges should win the money, then you wouldn't have people riding other peoples coat tails to the end.

I hope they bring Yua-Man back to play again.

Dreamz was too stupid to realize once he made that deal any hopes of winning were out the door. If he had stuck to the deal at least now he would look like an honorable man. What on earth made him think anyone would vote for him after not sticking to the deal.

Yau-Man was one of the most enjoyable players ever on survivor and I will miss watching him every wednesday....

Dreamz did wrong and I agree with Nonamia he doomed himself with his lies and cheating....

if they come out with a Yau-Man Rules tee-shirt I would buy one....

Yau-Man was like Barney Fife "I'm small but wiry" When the show started I didn't think he would last a week. Just goes to show that appearances are deceiving
