just guessing on the name. not sure if the markings are close enough, but maybe they change as they mature? the age sounds right (2 yrs) since Tera was a pup during katrina

Oscarmom, color can lighten or darken as the dog ages. This really looks like a possible match.

Don't know if the one on Lost Katrina Pets is still active or not. You might try.

got through to the owner on the phone.she is going to check with that shelter and see if the dog could be Tera. she said she would call and let me know. didn't get my email, she said she does not have email access at the moment.

Unfortunately this is not Terra. Susan B contacted the rescue and found out the dog was rescued in Lakeview. Here is a link to her original rescue photos. http://www.petfinder.com/photoView/photoView.cgi?petid=5157105&photo=2

It was a great try Oscarmom. Many of us thought this dog could be Terra but after seeing her puppy photos and knowing where she was rescued, we know it's not her.
