THE DOG LOST AFTER THE SEVERE CAR ACCIDENT IN INDIANAPOLIS HAS BEEN FOUND!!!!!

ABBEY HAS BEEN FOUND!

Here's a copy of the message I received this morning:

"Apparently there had been sitings of a yellow lab in a very nice neighborhood several times over the past few days. Some folks even thought is was a coyote. Anyway, Robin had been to the area as well as many of the volunteers but until yesterday, they had never made visual contact with the dog. The neighbors had been putting food out for her and she had been hanging out in the backyard of the fella who owns the Pacers.
Yesterday they (volunteers) saw her from a distance but she would not come to anyone, including Robin. They went back this morning and don't know the specifics but they did lay hands on her and she was sitting at Robin's feet at Lucky Dog when I talked to her a few minutes ago.
She appears to be in good shape with the exception of a few small scrapes. Robin was taking her to the vet for a check up.
So 12 days later, after incredibly cold temps, Abbey has been recovered. I can't tell you how happy we all are and how much I appreciate your support!"
