I gotta mow my grass. Do I pick up the poo first or mow over it?

I pick up every other day, that's why I may just mow over it - there won't be much out there.

I have a cool new pooperscooper, it's awesome. Maybe my husband would like to try it out! Shocked

I pick it up cuz we have a smaller yard.

When we had the giant expance of a yard, we mowed over
it with the rider.

I don't have a yard at all right now, nor a dog. But, when I was growing up and we had a yard and dogs, we mowed over it. My mom had a nice mulching lawn mower, and we figured the mower distributed the poop, which acted as nice fertilizer for the grass. If we have a yard when we move to Boston (yea right, like we can afford a house there), and when we get a dog, I will pick it up first, if only because my child seems to like putting everything in his mouth. I would hate for him to pick up some pieces of poop and try to eat them!

mow it over then pick it up when the grass is short and you can see it better

I we have a lot of it, and havent picked it up for a few days, we pick it up before hubby mows. If there isnt too mucho out there, we just mow over it.

Oh well.

I'm done! I picked up the obvious piles and mowed over the rest. My lawn almost looks beautiful now, I say almost because Callie has her 'race track' around the swing set and we have a bald patch right down the middle where grass just doesn't grow. Evil or Very Mad

But the rest looks great! Very Happy

the neighbor boy to pick up the poop daily or something.

Its really hard to find my dogs poo they are smaller than my cats and it gets lost out there.

Benny will only poo if he's being walked, so he always poos in other people's lawns. Laughing

So we just pick it up right after he goes. (Although many people just leave it if their dog goes in someone else's lawn. This one person thinks that you don't have to pick it up if it's in the road. And she has a Saint, so it's huge! Mad

)
