I think everyone except Kellie did a great job tonight. Probably one of the most consistently good shows this season.
Kelly, your bottom 3 are right on. I hope Elliott can stick around for another week or two.
I'd like to see the finals come down to Chris and Taylor.

The Pickle will stick around just because Vote For the Worst is backing her.  Sheesh, on Dialidol.com she has the second highest call volume so far tonight. 
If Elliott gets kicked off because of her I will be so pi$$ed! |

I like him because he is real and doesn't worry about looking cool or sounding like pop radio. His voice doesn't need slick computer-generated musical tracks or background vocals. His voice has soul and he knows how to control it. He shows his personality on stage and doesn't hold back or act self-conscious. It takes more than a pretty voice to sound good. Katharine- in my opinion- has a pretty voice but she hasn't learned how to use and control it. Even though it's nice when she sings she does not make me FEEL anything.
Also, I grew up listening to rock and soul and blues, whereas most pop music today and since the late 80's/early 90's has been all about synthesized production. |

Taylor just... I don't know, I just 'get' him, either you do, or you don't..... I got him from day one, his audition, I knew at that moment that he was going places....

Wow...everyone did very well last night except Kelly. I am not into standards or old music but I was very impressed.
Especially with Chris! His sensitive side......mmmmmm he's so yummmmy! 
I hope Ace goes home tonite and not Elliott! I tried voting for him but only got through 1 time!!

I like Taylor, hes a great singer, very entertaining, but do I think hes an "American Idol" ? No 
Ace, has a smile to die for, if he smiled the whole time he sang people may not notice that he doesn't sing that spectacular.
Paris, while obviously talented, ....uh no. Enough said.
Kelly certainly has the looks, lacks alittle upstairs, can sign country great and I think will do fine in the future but the "American Idol" ....no.
Elliot, can sign but just doesn't have the rest of the package, I just can't get past the ears and the teeth.
Chris, I love, I think would be "it", didn't do that great last night I didn't think. He isn't quite as versatile as some, he also seems to sound like hes singing a "rock" song, even when hes not.
Katherine Mcphee - Has the whole kit-n-kaboodle. She, I predict, will win. She definitely has a God given talent. And shes beautiful and classy. |

According to DialIdol, Taylor got the most votes, then Elliott, Kellie, Katherine, Chris, Paris, and Ace. They've been pretty accurate, so it looks like Paris and Ace are definitely in the bottom, then either Chris or Kat (they were very, very close - the text votes will decide). Ace should be leaving... he's been skating by on his looks (which, yes, I love to look at him!) for almost a solid month now. It's time....
Elliott picked up most of Bucky's votes, after Bucky did a bunch of interviews saying that Elliott and he were buddies. Elliott also got a lot of votes from Taylor fans - almost all the Taylor fans I know want Elliott in the finals. Elliott picked up a ton of votes, he went from #6 last week to #2 this week.
I love Elliott..... I want him and Taylor in the finale....

What exactly is DialIdol? How do they know who gets the votes?

They keep track of how many busy signals people are getting when they call to vote. It's dialidol.com. It doesn't take into account the text messages, which is why it's not always accurate, but the fewer contestants, the more accurate it is. It's been right the last two weeks.
