He is a cutie!! I think there is a home for him. Some dogs just take longer to find the right home for.Just like our blind beagle boy Jag-they had him labeled as being unadoptable-if he was so unadoptable then why is he here with us and we just adore him.I say never say a dog does not have a chance there is someone out there for him!! He's a cute little guy. I hope he finds a good loving home.

Shocked Why is his adoption fee so high?

His adoption fee was due to the cost of his vet fees. $250 is not even close to what was spent on Cooper. So we really don't consider that as being high at all, but whoever adopts him his personality and smarts will make up for that! Very Happy

I hope he finds a good home, it might just take awhile. Unfortunately, in my area, black mixes dont get adopted very quickly, if at all, especially with a $250 adoption fee. However, he may have luck on his side since he is a Katrina Dog. They are appealing to people.

Good luck, little guy!

Oops! sorry Melinda I live in Florida Embarassed . But I have learned of the color discrimination thing, I guess people aren't the only ones going through this. Hopefully someone will love him for him and not look at his color Sad . I think he is especially good for people who have kids, because he just doesn't were out! He's like the energizer bunny he keeps going and going.LOL

But even if someone had a really hyper kid, Cooper would be the perfect match.

I think the main thing is the "HIGH" adoption fee. You can't always get what you have invested in a dog. MOST times you take a loss. Rescue is NOT cheap.

I agree, but i've seen worse than that. Usually I see $300,250,175,100, but the great dane rescue I looked while surfing the web at wanted $450 Shocked ,thats high for me.
