This thread is for emergency information regarding Hurricane Katrina.
We're gathering information about how people in Katrina's path can protect their pets as well as how everyone can help. We'll be posting information on our disaster page as it comes in:

If you have information regarding:
Your pets lost or left behind in Katrina
You lived in the disaster area and need to have your pet fostered
You have found a pet in the disaster area, or
To make an offer to foster pets from the disaster areas,

This is a collaborative database linking information from the public and emergency response organizations and making it available to rescuers, victims, and volunteers.
