Here are some of the "kittens" at my shelter who for some reason get skipped over and over. They've all been my Pic of the week at some point. Who do you think will find a forever home?

Matrika 1.5 female Black and White DSH- 11/21/04 Pet of the Week

Matrika is a smaller female who is very sweet and quiet. She loves to be petted and will sit on your lap. She especially loves to be rubbed under her chin. If you are looking to add an affectionate and loving cat to your home you should come and meet Matrika.

Lakeshore 1.5y male Gray DLH (in temp. care)- 12/10/04 Pet of the Week

Lakeshore is a boy who lives to play. He is not afraid of much and he will walk right up to anyone new who he immediately thinks are there to play with him. His favorite toys are laser pointers and strings. He will chase them until they are exhausted. He is a very clean boy who is great with using a litter box and a scratching post. But, not only is Lakeshore playful he is also very smart. In less than a week, he learned how to sit up for a treat! Lakeshore also enjoys being by you and he does not mind being picked up. Lakeshore would love to find a home with another very playful dog or cat to play with. All it takes is a few minutes for this fun boy to steal your heart!

Silkie 1y female Tabby with White DSH (in temp. care)- 12/17/04 Pet of the Week

Silkie is a tabby with white markings who has been at our shelter for a little while. She has seen many people come and go from our shelter but so far she has been unable to find her perfect family. She is a girl with a lot of spunk and she loves to play. Silkie is also great with other cats and has made friends with another cat at our shelter, named Milo. She would do best in a family with older children. So far Silkie has already captured the heart of all the volunteers and now it is your turn. She would love a home where there was family that would play with her.

Max 1y male Black DSH (in temp. care)- January Signature Pet

Max is a handsome boy who is very outgoing and loves to be by people. As soon as you open his cage, he wants to come out and sit on your lap or play with his toys. Unfortunately, since his arrival at our shelter, Max tested positive for Feline Leukemia. Unfortunately Feline Leukemia remains an incurable viral disease but there are methods for treating it. Feline Leukemia is also contagious to other cats. Until then, Max is looking for a new home where he will be loved.

Robyn 1y female Black and White DSH- 1/14/05 Pet of the Week

Robyn is a sweet girl who was abandoned in our parking lot. When she first arrived she was very sick. She has now recovered and is feeling well but she has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. Unfortunately Feline Leukemia remains an incurable viral disease but there are methods for treating it. Right now, Robyn is getting used to her new surroundings and is very friendly. She enjoys being around people and will sit and let you pet her for hours. Being that Feline Leukemia is contagious to other cats, Robyn must be the only cat. Once you stop by and meet Robyn you cannot help but fall in love with her.

Jackie 1y female Black DSH- 2/18/05 Pet of the Week

Jackie is a beautiful black cat who has very silky fur. She is a quiet girl who loves to sit in the window and watch all of the birds out the window. If you have love and a window to share, you need to come and meet Jackie. (personal note: Jackie is the very definition of a stressed out kitty. She is kept in a room by herself because she can't handle being in a room with all the other cats. She's as sweet as can be and is scared to death. She paces her cage non stop, day and night. When she sees any hand's or skin come towards her she'll run up to them and rub them and beg them to save her. If you know anyone who could take her please have them come there. She really breaks my heart...).

Pinecone 4.5m male Grey and White DSH- 3/11/05 Pet of the Week

Pinecone is a recent arrival at the shelter and is being evaluated. More information will be posted soon, unless this charmer steals someone's heart first!

Erika 1y female Black DMH- 3/18/05 Pet of the Week

Erika is a beautiful black domestic medium hair who is very affectionate. She loves to be held and will melt into your arms. She has very soft fur which is great for cuddling. Erika also loves to be brushed. She is good with other cats and children. She will be the perfect match for a family who is looking for a very loveable and cuddly cat. Erika is not ready for a family of her own.

Snickers 1y female Tortie DSH- 3/18/05 Pet of the Week

Snickers is a smaller female who came to our shelter very malnourished. She has since begun making a recovery. Snickers is a sweet girl who is a bit shy when you first meet her. But within a few minutes she warms up to you and loves attention. Snickers is a girl who needs a special family who will help her make a great family pet.

Brie 9m female Black DSH- 3/35/05 Pet of the Week

Brie is a recent arrival at the shelter and is being evaluated. More information will be posted soon, unless this charmer steals someone's heart first!
