All animals at this shelter are URGENT!!!
The minimal cost for an adoption at the shelter is $70.00 which is a down payment towards the spay/neuter fee. We welcome out-of-county and out-of-state adoptions.
This fee is NON-NEGOTIABLE
We welcome rescue groups at the same $70.00 adoption rate.
She’s already spayed but it doesn’t say how much her adopt fee would be.
(I wonder how many lives get saved here. “which is a down payment towards”?? And rescue groups having to pay the public adopt fee.)

Baylee was owner-surrendered at the shelter with her sister Murphy. The elderly owner had to move in with his son who already had dogs plus his own family, and couldn't take the dogs. Baylee and Murphy need to be adopted together-they have been together for 10 years and are stuck together like glue ( ;

Miss Dorothy is following the yellow brick road, looking for her home.. She is 8-10 years old, and as sweet as can be.. She is housebroken, up to date on vaccinations, and spayed. She would make an excellent companion for someone that wants a very low key dog. Dorothy LOVES everyone she meets, her tail wags even harder when she meets children. Dorothy's adoption fee for the month of November is $20.12 in honor of November being "Adopt a Senior Pet" month. We are looking for a long term foster/permanent home for Dorothy. Bandit became available for adoption on 11/29/12 when he was surrendered by his adopter because he "runs when the door opens and opens fence".
(This one’s not a senior either … but what a fate because an owner doesn’t want to be more careful (put his leash on when you open the door) or do some training.)

This is Clay ( a 10 year old weim) and Stella ( a 9 yr old lab mix )
Assistance is needed now for these two senior dogs that deserve the chance to remain together and loved.
After mom took a turn for the worse ,they need a new home to call their own. they are senior dogs who i have had the pleasure to meet... loving dogs, good fun dogs with no issues except the problem of no longer having their beloved mom to care for them..
Search within yourself.. Find that little piece of yourself to help...To Give..
With no mom to care for them... and the only person mom has that is now spending all his days caring for her... they have noone else... noone that is, but you...
We all need help .. we all need love. These two senior dogs are looking for companionship that they have had all of their lives.. If your heart has the capacity to receive love and give love... spread this to an animal that will never take it for...
