Buddy and Bailey came to the shelter together and will be adopted as a bonded pair. Their owner couldn't care for. Buddy is 9 years old and has glaucoma in one eye.

Bob is a charming active 9 year-old lab. He is house-trained, and does well with other dogs. Bob is healthy, likes to go on walks, and chase tennis balls around the yard. He needs to stay on a special diet to keep his skin from itching. Bob will make a delightful companion for his new family!

This old girl was posted on Facebook by Hopers1. She must be at a shelter that has no Petfinder listing. (I didn't see her listed.) Such a pretty face. I am saying prayers that you can find somewhere for her to go, Hopers1.
12 year old Dandy dumped by owners who say they have no time for her. She is mostly deaf and has lived her entire life outside. She is in NM. Say some special prayers that I can find a Rescue to take her. She is on the Euth list and has very little time. |

Sage, I don't know how to get these pictures to post. Maybe being in someone's album has something to with it because the file properties are different than those for the picture Hopers1 had on FB. Maybe the pictures would have to loaded on one of the photo sites and then copied over. If they are in someone's album, in this case a rescue, I wonder if they'd have to give permission.

Posh Pets, a wonderful rescue in NYC, is willing to take Josephine and Jerry into their program but they in order to do so they desperately need a foster home for them. Please, is there anyone within an hour or so drive of NYC who has a foster spot for these two seniors?

The gal I was working w/ was told by the shelter that she was adopted.. let's hope that is the case.
Thank you ladies for posting these wonderful souls. I wish them all the home, love, and hugs they deserve!

Charlotte reminds me of my late Heart Dog, Velvet.
It sounds like the Napier dogs don't have much chance of getting adopted. And, at the same time, our local shelter is nearly empty. |

| Good news, Posh Pets was able to take both Josephine and her seeing eye dog, Jerry, into their rescue. Josephine has medical needs that require attention. Please, any help you can give Posh Pets is much appreciated. Posh Pets pulls many dogs from NYCACC, many seniors and those with needing medical help. Every little donation can help save a life.
