Autumn (Weatherford, TX)
Galletas (Denton, TX)
KAC Max (Keller, TX)
Max is a 10 year old neutered toy poodle. His mom said he was a purebreed but she can no longer afford to care for him. He is house and crate trained and gets along with other animals. Max is current on his shots and heartworm negative and will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come give this sweet senior citizen a home for his golden years! His adoption fee is $50.00 and he is ready to go home today!
Honey (Saint Cloud, MN)
Brinkley (Willmar, MN)
Labrador Retriever ~10 years old, 48lbs. Brinkley was a stray that came in to the local humane society. We are estimating that she is around 10 years old. Brinkley has arthritis and is currently on a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory once daily to alleviate some of the pain. She also is on a drug called Proin twice daily to help with urinary incontinence. Brinkley is such a sweet old girl and is desperately looking for a home that will give her the best care possible in her remaining years.
Brinkley has been spayed, Heartworm tested (negative) & on preventative, vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper,Bordetella (kennel cough), and has been microchipped. The adoption fee is $60
Whistler – Foster needed by 11/17 (Minneapolis, MN)
Buddy (New Ulm, MN)
Buddy is a Black Labrador Retriever (Neutered) Male Senior Dog. His estimated Date of Birth = 01/01/04. Buddy's Adoption Fee is only $50 plus MN Tax. In late September, Buddy wandered onto a farm in rural Brown County. This nice friendly dog was brough in to us and no one claimed him so he is available for adoption. Buddy is your typical friendly, loving lab. Upon arrival at our shelter, Buddy was noted to be limping (left front foot). He does have arthriis in his pelvis and an elbow. He was tested for Cushings Disease and is negative for this. Upon further medical exam he may have early renal disease and is currently being fed a low protein renal diet. Buddy will need a new family who is willing to work with him on his health needs. He in turn will provide eternal love. Please consider this special needs adoption.
Cocoa Ike (Same place)
Cocoa (Ike) is a Black Lab/ Chow (Neutered) Male Senior Dog. His original name was Cocoa & his adoptive family changed his name to Ike. His estimated Date of Birth = 01/01/01. Since he is a senior dog, his adoption fee is reduced to $50 + MN State Tax. Cocoa (Ike) has not had an easy life. He was found in a ditch on Hwy 68 (with injuries) in May 2011. Cocoa (Ike) was possibly hit by a car. He received medical treatment & improved to the point where he was adopted in 2011. In October 10, 2012, Cocoa (Ike) was returned to us, since he had a seizure. Since 2011, Cocoa (Ike) has gained some weight (he has a low thyroid level & recently started medication to help this) and we are working with him on trying to reduce his weight. Cocoa (Ike) is a special needs adoption. He will need a new family with a lot of heart & love to help care for this special guy....
