Post subject: new animal/pet rescue project...
|Good day everyone!
I am undertaking the task of writing software that will automate every aspect of an animal rescue groups operations.
While the software is going to be incredibly feature-rich, rescue group personnel should find it very easy to use. And the best part is they'll no longer be bogged down by stacks of paperwork and manual procedure. This software will allow them to accept more animals into their system, and place them into loving homes faster.
It is being built from the ground up using state of the art software tools and is designed FOR rescue groups BY rescue groups i.e. several have been in on the design and development from practically day one.
But, like your favorite band in concert who wants you to clap in time with their biggest hit, we need your helping hands.
Bringing this project to fruition will involve a significant amount of coding (which takes time) as well as new hardware and software resources to build it to eventually run on Mac and Linux/Unix machines as well as on all versions of smart phones and tablets.
As we were researching funding and marketing options, we were introduced to the concept of "crowd funding" and after checking out a number of these sites, we chose the one we felt was the best fit for us and have brought our project online. Basically the concept allows people to pledge whatever they can afford to the project and in exchange for helping the budding entrepreneur (that would be ME!), they have the satisfaction of knowing they contributed to a good cause and will get some nifty gifts in return. (That's right, we said gifts.)

... and view our short video and skim the project details. Then if you feel this is a worthwhile project, please consider contributing.
If you're reading this after the above project ends in and around the end of June or mid-July 2012, you can visit us on the web at...
We understand times are tough for many people right now and budgets are limited, so while you might like to contribute a higher amount but just can't afford it, please consider a $5 pledge. Trust us... these contributions are just as important.
But whether you can pledge or not, please pass this information along to the rest of the world by:
* forwarding the main portion of this email to all your friends and family
* posting the information to any online group or forum you're a member of
* if you contribute to a newsletter or blog, posting the information and even
a review of the project
* if you do any social networking such as Linked In, Facebook, etc. posting
the information for all your contacts to see
... and in all instances, ask everyone to do the same - pass the email along and post mention of it anywhere and everywhere they can think of.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, for visiting our project, and by helping any way you can, even it's just passing along the information to the rest of the world. We are forever grateful.
P.S. If you represent a rescue group, depending on when you contact us we might have room in the beta testing program if you are interested.
