Post subject: Troubled Rescue Dog

I pulled a dog named Bandit from animal control in 2010. He is approx 2 years old and over the last several months has developed some aggression issues towards other dogs. He gets along fine with my two dogs but I have trouble introducing new dogs into the group and I just don’t know enough about dog behavior to confidentially asses him and adopt him out.

I rescue on a very small scale, about 20 dogs a year, because I work alone and all my rescues live with me until I’m able to get them adopted out. I would love to be able to continue in rescue but I can’t unless I find a rescue with an experienced staff willing to take Bandit on because it’s really hard for me to keep everyone separated and safe.

Bandit’s chipped, neutered, and utd on shots. Does anyone know of a rescue that may be willing to help?

Bandit is a great looking dog! Hope it all works out soon. Contact different rescues in your area and tell them what is going on. They may know trainers or people with experience.
