I’ve had an adopted 6 yr old Miniature Schnauzer mix for 1.5 years. He’s always had a slight sneeze/cough/gurgle when he first wakes up. Sometimes it’s worse than other times (now). My vet hasn’t really been able to see/hear the condition on the 3 or4 visits there for other things.
Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. David |

Hi David,
A couple of thoughts;
Try getting video of the symptoms - most digital cameras have some video capabilities, be sure to get good audio as well. I would get the syptoms on several different mornings (or whenever they occur) and keep a log of when and where the dog was , activity before sleep and any changes in diet or exposure to possible allergins.
A dog I know always slept under him owners bed - a while after they moved the dog started having respritory problems they didn't know what it was - turns out there was a forced hot air vent under the bed and the heat had started kiking on in the fall.
The other thought is to move your post to the Amimal comunity page - more activity there maybe more ideas. |
