|
|
As some of you may remember, I got a horse in July, 2010. It's been nearly a year and a half since I got Albert, and we've grown so much since then. I showed him last August in an open show and won 2nd place in our first dressage test, and 4th place in the second dressage test and in an 18" cross rail jumping course. I've taken him up to the mountains and herded cows on him (in an English saddle!), and we've done two hunter paces! We love to gallop across fields, it's such an amazing experience.
This winter we will be working on jumping. The highest I've jumped on him is about 3' and we're doing fantastic! Just thought I'd give a little update.

He's just beautiful and you look like a good team in the video.
I miss that horse and rider bond - it's been many years.
Looking forward to more updates |

Thanks guys! Today when we were out feeding, he kicked the 3 year old off of the dirt mound in their dry lot and he started hopping around and rearing to show off, it was hilarious! He is such a ham, I wish I had my camera out!
