Sorry you guys..didn't notice the link I provided earlier wasn't working. Please! If you think you'd be able to transport at one time or another (even if it's a short distance)ADD yourself on the map! For those that won't be involved in transport but are involved in rescue, you can still utilize this map. It's great just to look for contacts in the area needed to transport an animal.

My friend and I were discussing shelter animals and he wanted to come up with something that can help everyone involved in rescue. I mentioned one of the biggest issues in rescue, is finding people to transport these animals to different locations. We came up with this map where everyone that wants to be a part of transporting animals can put their own mark which includes their name, location, contact info, and the amount of miles they wouldn't mind traveling. This is all up in the air. We're hoping to get as many volunteers as possible to put their mark on the map. This will make it so much easier to locate people willing to do transports!! *Pet Adoption Highway*

Consider joining the Pet Adoption Highway. The purpose of this map is to make connections for those who are transferring pets to foster homes, rescues, and adoptive homes.

If you would like to volunteer to help transfer animals, please click the edit button (above) and add a placeholder at your location. Click the placholder and enter your name, contact info, and radius in miles that you would be.

For some who are having trouble finding the "edit" button, either refresh your page or it may be b/c you need an account, which is free. If you'd rather not make an account, I'LL put in your info. Just remember this is all public. If you don't feel comfortable putting your phone number, then don't. I just have my location, name, email address, and distance I'm willing to go.
