On March 16th, Patrick the pitbull was starved nearly to death and then put in a garbage bag and thrown down a garbage chute in an apartment complex in Newark, NJ. He survived and is recovering at GSVS hospital.
Kisha Curtis has been charged with torture and torment of an animal. She has plead not guilty.
A Rally for Patrick will be held on May 6th at 9am. This will be a PEACEFUL protest to ensure that Patrick receives justice. You can get details at A Call For Patrick's Angels on FB.
For those that cannot attend but would like to write letters of support for Patrick:
WRITE TO CAROLYN MURRAY, ACTING ESSEX COUNTY PROSECUTER TO DEMAND FOR FELONY ANIMAL CRUELTY CHARGES ! We believe there may be a provision for felony in the statute.
