You can dine on your own, hang out with other animal lovers in our designated room in the restaurant (just ask the hostess), or even order take-out. Just be sure to tell them you want your purchase to benefit THLN or just "the animal group".

20% of your food and drink purchases from this event will go directly to the Texas Humane Legislation Network, an amazing animal cause.

Texas Humane Legislation Network (THLN), a non-profit animal welfare charity, with a mission to pass new legislation to protect animals in Texas during this legislative session.

Why are funds so desperately needed?

THLN is working feverishly to pass a bill into law in the 2011 Texas Legislative Session that will ensure proper care of dogs and cats in large-scale commercial breeding operations (otherwise known as "puppy mills"). This is the first step in solving puppy mill problems in Texas.

Want to do more?

THLN local chapter members will be available in a designated room at this event to answer any questions and explain how you can be a huge part in helping us pass this bill simply by emailing or placing a 30 second phone call to your legislator. It's easy and will make a tremendous difference in the lives of dogs and cats living in horrendous conditions in this presently unregulated commercial breeding industry. With surrounding states passing similar legislation, if we don't get this bill passed into law in 2011, Texas may become a safe haven for unregulated mass breeding operations. You can be a part of making a difference in the lives of animals living in Texas.
