A Chance for Bliss is a 501c3 animal sanctuary in Penryn, California (at bit east of Sacramento). Bliss provides permanent sanctuary to animals of all kinds that are elderly, injured or special needs. They currently have 83 animals, including cats, dogs, horses, pot-bellied pigs, sheep, goats and fowl. More info is on their website at achanceforbliss.com.
They are in desperate need of a working used truck - appearance doesn't matter. They also need a small tractor or even a riding mower. And monetary donations are wonderful always, of course!
If you know of anyone that has a truck that would like do a ttax-deductible donation, please let me know. I write cat rescue articles for the Sacramento edition of Examiner.com, and will happily do a story plugging the person/business that helps Bliss get a vehicle and/or tractor/riding mower.
