Huntington Heights Haven cat shelter in Abbotsford is in need of volunteers to help out in a number of ways.
We mainly rescue abused cats and trap and fix feral cats to either be permanently housed here or, if possible, socialized and adopted. We also have a separate enclosure for our cat’s that are FIV or FeLV positive.
We've got a great facility but we need help in order for it to be a truly amazing place for these animals.
At the moment our main issue (and I'm sure we're not alone) is lack of manpower. We could really use help with the daily routine stuff like cleaning and feeding. We also need people to help out with socializing the feral cats.
Or, if you’re a vet tech who’s looking for experience or are just wanting to offer your skills, here's your opportunity.
