| Hi! My name is Andrea and my husband and I just adopted our first puppy. She is a German and Australian Shephard Mix. We adopted her almost a week ago and she has been our highlight! Her name is Kali, about 8 to 10 weeks old. We're working on potty training her and I work every day on sitting and lying down. She' smart, but I've never trained before so this will be interesting. She also had Kennel Cough when we adopted her. I guess the agency we adopter her from rescued her from being put down. I'm glad they did!!! She's been on medication for the Cough for a few days now and she's doing much better, she's gained some weight, and she's much more playful with maybe one to three cough attacks a day. She's a great addition to our family. Thanks for reading Kali's story! |

Congrads on your new addition to the family. As far as Potty Training goes:
1. After every meal.
2. immediately after coming out of the crate.
3. Prior to going back in the crate.
4. After a dog training session
5. After a play session
No food for a few hours prior to kennel time.
- Have a leash attached to the puppy (only when you can supervise the puppy and the puppy is not in the crate. This will assist you in interrupting any actions of elimination. _________________ Your Long Island Dog Training School. |
