Post subject: Got our girls throgh Petfinder |

Knowing a stray cat we had taken in was dying, I looked on Petfinder to see what shelters were in our area so we could adopt another cat. I find it's better to get another pet as soon as possible.
To make a long story short we spotted a little fuzzball kitty at a shelter advertising on Petfinder. We went to see her and it was love at first sight even though she had an URI. Walking around the small cat adoption room I came upon a slightly older short hair gray and white female. She was rubbing on the bars and sticking her little paw through the bars. Her face was cute, so sweet.... and she had a slightly deformed tail. Her time was running out. We went home with two kitties that day thanks to Petfinder. 
We love them dearly and can't picture life without them now. We bought them all kinds of toys and furniture for Christmas.
Zephyr has recently been spayed and little Phaedra will be spayed next month.

| Aren't they sweet! And so happy. So let's see now, it this your happy tail or theirs? It's both and it's so nice to read (and see) animals being saved and loved. Thanks for adopting and for sharing a smile with everyone. |

Thank you all for your replies. I wanted people to know that their efforts to post the pics of the animals up for adoption works. It works for them and for those of us looking for a new pet to adopt and love. We feel so fortunate and so blessed to have these two young kitties in our life. We can't imagine life without them now.
