I saw Bailey's pic on Facebook when he was 8wks old. After loosing my Husky mix Kaos over a year ago I had been longing for another big dog when I came across Bailey's picture. I fell in love and decided to adopt him from a kill area. There were some problems alng the way and he had been pulled by a rescue in Alabama. First he had Coccidia so I had to wait untill his treatment was done. Then I wasn't sure I could come up with his adoption fee but finally did. Then we had to set up transport for him which fell through the first time. We were finnaly able to get him home to me in NJ last Sunday only to be told by the resue the night before the transport was to leave that he has Sarcoptic Mange and still had a slight case of Coccidia. Bailey is by himself in my upstairs back bedroom. He had a vet appointment with my vet on Monnday where the tests said he was negative for Coccidia and the Mange. I'm still treating him for the suposide mange anyway but at least he is here with me now. He is such a good boy, even barks so I know when he has to go out. Thank god I adopted him as I wouldn't be able to live with myself if he stayed in the high kill area. Bailey will be a cherished member of my family for years to come and I encourage everyone to adopt, not purchase from a pet store as there are many puppies and kittens in the shelter systems who need forever homes.[img][/img][img][/img][url][/url]
