EP 11 Laura and Brandon
It was great to see a mother and son who wanted totally different dogs finally get on the same page. 15-year-old Brandon had to bring a dressed up "designer dog" to school, and his mother Laura had to get over her fears by spending the afternoon with a large dog named Leo! Jarod and I were able to "bust some myths,” about small and large pets, and ultimately, we got Laura and Brandon to agree on a perfect dog!!

What a dynamic duo we found in Laura and Brandon! It was interesting to meet a Mother and son who were so closely bonded and yet, couldn't agree on a pet. And this kind of debate happens so often in families, it's great to know that with a little education and the ability to compromise, you can ultimately find a pet that will make everyone happy. And Brandon and Laura certainly found that pet in Benny!

Leo, one of the second teacher's pets, is the most charming and well-behaved dogs I've ever met. He can fetch, lay, shake a paw, roll over, almost anything you can think of! Leo was a great way to convey to Laura and Brandon a dog's capabilities through training and love.
