In my time zone, American Idol is going on right now, Brooke White just sang and Oh MY Goodness!!!!!!! If she doesn't go home tomorrow I swear America has problems! Not only did she start then stop and start over, but it wasn't the first time! She forgot the lyrics and throughout the song, she just lost her voice! Jason (dread lock guy) didn't do so well either but really, how many times can she sneak through and avoid what's coming to her?? It just frustrates me that a amateur singer can stay while some really good singers go home....this is why "Vote for the Worst" needs to die.

That was bad. They all pretty much sucked except for David Cook.

I'm trying to remember the name of the show, it was a parody of American Idol. I only saw it once...

It was the one where they had really terrible singers, who thought they were good. They didn't get to listen to the others sing, so they had no idea it was a big prank. And my word, they were awful. The judges were telling them they were great.

I haven't watched American Idol since the first season, but from your descriptions, it sounds like tonight could've passed for that show.

Hopefully the judges weren't merciful!

For me, David Cook. Maybe because I listen to that type of music, but I think he has the best voice and he's been very true to who he is, and very consistant throughout. I like Jason Castro but I don't think he's consistant enough, and he's fairly limited to what he does, which is sweet and all, but he's starting to show that he lacks range.

Who *will* win will probably be Syesha or Carly, maybe David A has an outside shot. But based purely on talent, it should be David Cook.

With any luck, he'll go out 4th and do his own thing, like Chris Daughtry did. The winners don't seem to do as well as the third and fourth place people do! Laughing

It wasn't an especially good night for the American Idols. Andrew Lloyd Webber songs are difficult. I generally like Jason Castro but I thought his attempt at singing Memory from Cats was nauseating. He butchered an incredibly beautiful song. I love David Cook and he deserves to win but I hope he doesn't so he can take his career in the direction he chooses rather than being told what to do like the winners are. I'm not a big Syesha fan but I thought she did a good job last night.

It's time for Brooke to go home. It was the second time she started, stopped and started again. The first time was when she was playing piano but I can't remember what week it was. Is it me or is David A. annoying? Maybe it's because I'm not a teeny bopper. Very Happy

I love both Davids .. I can't stand Carly.. Really don't like Brooke..

I think the judges were to easy on her lastnight.. I mean c'mon.. this is supposed to be you dream and blah blah.. know the freaking lyric.. you don't even have to know the whole song.

The final two will be Davids, David A will win, but David C will be better off for it. I'm not saying David A deserves to win, he just will.

And we loved Carly-- but were not surprised she left. Brooke needs to go but I do like her -- cause she's a hippy chick, not cause she has a great voice.

She screwed up Every Breath You Take last time, she started over. Someone at work said, if Paula criticizes you, you really screwed up big time…

Jason came across as a real doofus this week-- he didn't know Memories was sung by a cat? Do a little research dude, they do have access to the internet…And he slaughtered it. I actually like that song a lot.

I'm just glad no one attempted Don't Cry for Me Argentina…..
