California shelters and rescues with pet food relief through San
Diego-based partner Helen Woodward Animal Center:

evacuation-related issues due to the California wild fires,

(800) 508-9275 for important information or to speak
directly with a pet wellness professional.
Animal care and veterinary health professionals will be
available to answer common pet-related questions on topics
such as:
-- Smoke inhalation
-- Evacuation/emergency pet preparedness
-- Emergency pet feeding and hydration
-- Superficial wound care or other injuries
"Through its Friends for Life Fund, Iams is donating two 9,000 pound shipments of dog and cat food to its partner, the Helen Woodward Animal Center (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.), to help support the many animal shelters and rescue organizations in and around So. Calif. Each 9,000 pound shipment is enough food to feed approximately 3,000 pets for seven days.
