Ha! Griz lets me do anything. He just doesn't like those big dogs. Thanks for the compliment, I think they are pretty cool, too.
Nope, can't get another dog, sorry. Foster filled the last spot. You get right to the point, dont you?
Hahaha, you're going to be a pretty good recruiter. No, I can't volunteer. Because 3 of my dogs are special needs (yes, people, I'm counting Foster as "normal" ), I hardly have the time. Brandy, because of her megaesophagus, needs to be held upright for about 45 minutes after each feeding so that the gravity pulls down food (much shorter time for water). Because of Brooklyn's aggression, I need to separate them meaning separate potty breaks, etc. |

Yes I do...sometimes that can be good or bad. lol...Poor Brandy...give her an extra kiss for me
One question...How come you said you were counting Foster as "normal"?? Is there something that a person could consider odd about him? He seems sweet and doesn't look like a special needs boy...****I'm so nosy**** |

I'm just joking. It's because he's such a pain in my hiney including all these accidents he causes to injure himself (one of the vets in the emergency clinic knows him because he's there so often ). He's just a very funny naughty boy who's so absolutely cute because he's so naughty. For example, sometimes I catch him walking all suspicious to another room - you know, that walk in the cartoons where the legs are lifted deliberately and the neck kinda moves forward and back - and I wait a few seconds, then go look in the room he disappeared to, and you bet I find him doing something he KNOWS he's not supposed to do because he freezes with whatever he was eating or wrestling with in his mouth, only his eyes moving (trying to think of a way to escape)...
I just copied some of this from a post I made on another forum since I described this recently. |

That's hilarious!!! Roxy, my 1.5 year old MC mix, does that occasionally. You know how sometimes cats get hairballs and inadvertently throw up, well whenever Roxy does anything like that, she feels all guilty and will walk by with her head down. Then she'll come up to you and ask for forgiveness by licking your hand gently and calmly pawing your face. She'll even make these big puppy dog eyes, and after that performance how could anyone get mad?? lol
I just love how pets can change the way you feel about something so well. |
