we have a Katrina dog who has ended up in our shelter if anyone would like to rescue him.
his family was flooded out in Biloxi. They turned in his rabies cert that was reissued after they lost all of their other records to high water in their basement. Apparently they moved from one place to another for the last year plus until they ended up in KY and took an apt that doesn't let them keep pets. they turned him into our shelter.

he is the sweetest guy.
hard to read like some chows but so nice
he sat so still, just smiling, while some of the girls shaved him down completely. I've never seen a dog that is easier to groom. |
