Post subject: Let us not forget the animals of Katrina (or its' people) |

Above is a photo of ARK, a full sized replica of one of the boats used to save animals from the flood. It was created using materials from the rescue, like intake forms and pet food bags.
It is an art installation to commemorate the heroic work, done by Best Friends and hundreds of volunteers, who answered the call, put their lives on hold, and went to save the animals lost in Katrina's wake.
