Ah yes, here it comes again, the fimiliar buzz of agitation, excitement, nervousness, and of course the raging outcry of, "Why isn't it out already!"

Sad to say, I'm a bit of a Harry Potter addict. Moreso, a Snape addict. I don't know why I was drawn to this character, maybe my love for the "baddies" or maybe it's my almost equal love of Alan Rickman, the actor who plays Severus himself in the movies.

So recently, I re-read the entire series to brush up on my HP Fan-girl knowledge and was surprised with everything I forgot! Of course, I went and saw the 5'th movie the day [or rather, night] that it hit theatres, at 12:01 AM and was laughing uncontrollably everytime I saw Snape

...I do like him.

I have a few theories behind the new book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - hitting stores July 21'st. My main theory is that Harry is most definitely a Horcrux. With the Dark Lord having transferring power to him the night he attempted to murder him and Dumbledore's cryptic message "One Cannot live while the Other Survives." Since J.K. Rowling mentioned that she will definitely be killing off two major characters [and she hasn't been shy about that lately!] my assumptions are the obvious; Lord Voledmort and Severus Snape. Amongst my other ideas were Ron and Hermione, Neville, or even Harry himself.

However, J.K. Rowling has mentioned that she might consider writing another book should she feel like it, but - and I quote - she said, "After the Deathly Hallows, I believe I will not revisit the Harry Potter world for a long time to come."

I do hope she writes another one though..As, like I mentioned, I'm a crazed fangirl. :}

I was wondering what your theories behind this new upcoming book could be? It's a hot topic around the world, and I'm about dying to know.

I do really hope Snape is not killed, but I wouldn't mind seeing him tortured a bit. After all, he deserves it -- making me wait this long to see if he's good or evil! And maybe for that bit with Dumbledore...

MY WORK!

Well naturally, to reflect this excitement, I had to make my own digital painting - it's kind of my thing - and this is what I came up with. I love my Snapey, but I believe he will wind up dying in this next book, after he makes up with Harry. I really do hope he is "good" after all. I pity him...

I USED NO REFERENCES: I didn't use a reference for anything on that painted picture, not Severus nor the raven perched on his shoulder. It was all done from the head, which is why you'll notice that some aspects of both look a little "off." This was also my first time ever painting a bird, and also, my first time painting human skin! I'm proud of it.

**NOTE: The mysterious skeletal figure in the snow looming above Severus head. The dark mark, perhaps? Wink

**NOTE: Snapes eyes, and cloak reflect a jet of green light. What is the only spell that - thus far - kills with a jet of green; Avada Kedavra. If you look in Severus' eyes you'll also see a mysterious black-cloaked figure. Lord Voldemort? Harry?

THE PAINTING IS NOT FINISHED!

Just thought I'd make that obvious...I've spent about 27-33 hours on it so far, and it has a looong way to go

What do you guys think? About everything. My painting, the video's. What are your theories? I'm just trying to waste time in lieu of waiting for the upcoming book. xD

I don't think Harry is a horcrux because he would need to be destroyed in order to "kill" Voldemort. If that happens, they would both be dead.

"One cannot live while the other survives" indicates to me that one lives, and DD confirmed that one of the two would have to kill the other.

I can see Harry sacrificing himself in order to get rid of Voldemort, but the prophecy doesn't indicate they would both die, at least in my opinion.

I don't think he's a horcrux. Voldemort wouldn't do that. He's very protective of his horcruxes. Too much of a risk for him. What if Harry was the last horcrux left and someone killed him? Then Vodly would be dead, too.

Yes, and wouldn't Lord Voldemort have ordered Draco Malfoy, not to kill Harry, since Draco was now a Death Eater, so in the service of Voldemort.
