FOSTERS needed for Katrina cats and their offspring. We are trapping cats left in the deserted areas of New Orleans for spay/neuter to curb the population, and need fosters for the cats that are not put back on the streets:
1) friendly adult cats that were once pets and are still left on the streets after Katrina
2) adult cats that were once pets, still left on the streets after Katrina and are very scared. These cats will need a little extra attention until they adjust.
3) kittens born on the streets; some are friendly and others will need some work to tame them down.
These cats will be returned to the street in the devastated area if there are no fosters available. Please contact us if you can help. We can make arrangements to transport cats if needed. |
