Someone dumped this poor little guy in the parking lot of the clinic I work at He is unfortunately is heartworm positive ....not that I'm surprised at all and had a nasty spiked collar on that was too tight and was rubbing his poor little neck raw ! He is SUPER SWEET !!! I was originally going to foster him until he is treated and neutered but he's getting along so well with our other dogs and cats that I think we're gonna keep him !! So I need some help deciding what to name him .... any suggestions ??

Biko (bee-koh)
Stephen Biko was a South African anti-apartheid activist who died at the hands of the south African police. He was quite the hero and rallied people around the world to take a stand against apartheid.
LOL, I'm just waiting for a chance to name a shelter or rescue pet Biko. |

He is too handsome not to keep! That poor little man! I don't know why someone would do that to such a little cutie.
Here are some names I liked that have certain meanings:
Adonis-Greek:In mythology, the handsome youth loved by Venus.
Aida-Irish Gaelic: The little fiery one.
Ajax-Greek: The legendary hero of the Trojan War.
Alec-Greek: The protector and helper of mankind.
Allen-Irish and Scottish Gaelic: Handsome.
Alroy-Irish Gaelic: A redheaded boy.
Zeke-Hebrew: God strengthens, or the strength of God.
Ziv-Hebrew: Full of life.
Dakota-Native American: A friend.
Lakota-Native American: friend.
That's all i have for now! Hope you pick out a name that suits him!!
Thank you for taking him in. He looks like such a happy guy now! |
