Post subject: New Poll - Master Tank/Nila Front Page News Today! |

Master Tank and Nila have been big news this week in St. Pete (Pinellas) - and the stories have been picked up by Reuters and sent around the world.
The Poll last week was "Broke" according to the pollster
Please vote to show your support to all Katrina pets and their owners...and especially at this time the "Coutures and their precious grandchildren"
Poll is right under Master Tank and Nila's pic

| When I posted my vote this morning, giving the dogs back was at 55% - it's now down to 52%. If you have not yet voted in this poll, go do it now. |

I think the poll is getting "broken" again - I am not saying that because the No's are gaining - I say that because you vote "yes" and the "no" goes up several votes and the yes goes up 1.
This is the same that happened last time AND they took the poll down. Evidentally the poll can't take a massive influx of voters  |

When I talked to the webguy the other day he said this happens when someone tries to take controle of the poll. I don't think anyone here would do that, but just vote don't try to stuff the box. We're on the winning side we don't have stoop to their level to win here.

This poll is really whacked or someone is trying to fix it
At 1:30 pm it was
Yes, absolutely 3507 votes 54%
No way 2931 votes 46%
What the?????? The No's are on the top, Yes's on the bottom now
They have switched the results around??!!
Just now it is showing this
No way 6631 votes - 59%
Yes, absolutely 4631 votes - 41% |

i hesitate to post this question..... I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE ????
but i get emails from people who post on the DRAR forum as i was signed
up there during the katrina time and i believe i have just read someone
post who is venting about many things, asking why and how it came
to be that tank was PTS.
could he be talking about another tank ?
do we know what happened with the outcome of tank and nila ?
sorry.... i am not up to date on alot of the katrina dogs and cats anymore.
if this was posted someplace maybe someone could paste a link in this
thread.

well i don't know what those people on DRAR were talking about...
must have been another dog because this article i just did a search
for makes it sound like master tank is still alive and that the
judge still has to rule on this...
but if you read the comments on the bottom the last comment from
someone makes it sound like the judge ruled and the dogs will
be going home ?
so i don't know. i'm confused ? but in any case it sounds like master tank
is alive which is good.

The dog called Tank in the DRAR post is a dog that they named Tank--totally sep from Master Tank in Pinellas. The DRAR dog is an american bulldog they took back to Athens, never posted, and adopted out. He ultimately was pts.

Chris - is there a pic anywhere of Tank? Still looking for Dr. Dennis' Am Bulldog, Rex Dennis. Rex is white w/beige on left ear going down to left eye.
