he is getting those nosebleeds again, and not severe but will not stop. went to the vet and Monday he is supposed to have a scope put in his nose to look for a polyp or tumor. if it is a tumor there is not much they can do, due to location, especially in a 13 yr old and it would only get worse over time. I feel like his time is coming and I may have to make that hard decision. yesterday and today he is having good and bad moments. sometimes he is ok, others he lies in his bed and doesn't want to be bothered, shakes sometimes and looks like the spark is leaving his eyes. only eating his snacks ( he is a big puperoni fan) but no food. I already have a headache and stomachache thinking about this, but I would do what's right for him, the last loving thing for my buddy.I don't want to wait too long and see him get worse. I will let you know what happens. maybe it is only a polyp, but he just is not himself sometimes. here is a picture of my beautiful boy in the back ( Felix is in the front)

| Oh Oscars Mom I am so sorry, our dog Suzy had the same thing, she had a tumour in her nose, she was 14 1/2 when we had to PTS, the nose bleeds are horrible when they happen. I wish you luck and will be thinking of you! If you have any questions PM them to me. |

| thanks for the kind words everyone. we will not know much until Mon or Tues after he has some tests. he seemed a little more chipper today, but it comes and goes. this is the hardest, trying to decide what to do and when. my other two dogs, as I look back, I probably waited too long to end their pain. will let you guys know what happens |

Oscarmom,
Now is not the time to start second guessing things you did or didn't do in the past. I'm sure you did what was best at the time. Spiritsmom is right miracles can happen anytime. Know that you are in our prayers, hope for the best and know that we're here for you.
