I posted your transport from NC to IA for Mindy, and I got some replies from people on the Lab Board.
One Lady Rhonda offered to do Leg 1 and possibly 2 depending on the date and day and another Lady Jessica offered to pay $150 towards her airfare.
Here is the link:

Let me know what I should answer them. |

Hi all, so sorry to have to report that the family that were going to take this dog, have now had a family tragedy and had to pull out
Vicster sent me this message and as she can not get on PF from work asked me to post for her.
Hello, dear friend...well, the whole thing went up in smoke!!!! The people who have sent money or offered money have been contacted and I am returning their money or giving it to the rescue who vetted Mindy, as the people choose. (everyone seems to want it sent to rescue). I wanted to wait until I heard from all of them before posting publicly, but I will do that now. The gal was hours away from buying the ticket for Mindy when the family contacted me and said there had been a "personal tragedy" and they simply could not take her. Other than that, I don't know anything else. Thank God we hadn't bought the ticket and/or put her on the plane. Several people from lab rescue are working on finding her a home and I think she will be okay. |

| Mindy left today for her new family on 40 acres in upstate NY. She was pretty freaked out at leaving her comfy foster home NC and dealing with strange people on the transport but she'll have a great life starting tonight. Thanks to all who helped her. |
