Not sure where else to post this but I started a Yahoo group for the LRAS shelter. (Little Rock Animal Services) If intersted please join! I would like for shelters/rescues/fosters/posters/transporters, exc. who have worked with them in the past to join (or anyone who might want to work with us) as well as people with sucessful low kill shelters.

*l* sue just informed me I hadnt posted the name of the group. If you are interested in joining, please PM me and I will send an invite. For some reason it isnt showing up on yahoo groups when you search. It might take a couple days though? Anyway, the name of the group is LRASanimals but it isnt showing up on the search. I would be more than happy to send you an invite but have to have an email address. I tried searching a lot of different ways even by my user name but couldnt find it Sad

I just realized you can email this to subscribe:

I am hoping we can do something to change things.

PS-I am also adding a poll to see what you all think about yahoo groups. I personally havent had a lot of luck with them. I have posted to them many times and only one dog has been saved because of it. However, I do know people who have taken dogs off of yahoo group lists.

I live in CA but I would join your group. I am active (try to be) here and on myspace with animal rescue and related topics. I can be helpful in cross posting information to reach the maximum amount of people. Smile And if there is ever a need for transport thru my area, I'd be more than willing to help!
