hi everybody im new! my name is destiny and buddy is my boyfriends dog. i think i might have fallen in luv wid the dog 1st! lol j/k....i have 2 cats: Tash and Shadow, i have 2 dogs: Sissy and Sugar Foot, and i have 2 parakeets: Sweet Pea and Crombie. i hope 2 b a vet! i volunteer at the Humane Society and i love it there Exclamation

buddy wuz always my fave and i had my boyfriend adopt him cuz my parents wouldnt allow me 2 get anymore animals cuz i would have all of em if i could! and he was grown and needed somewhere 2 have fun so my boyfriend finally adopted him but i always pick with my boyfriend "Caleb" saying that buddy liked me more cuz i knew him longer and i was the 1 that shoveled his poop in the morning Embarassed

lol! well i better go now. im at skool rite now and i was done early with my work. im in science in the computer lab....well cya!undefined

Destiny,

I can understand getting along with Buddy and loving him more (really?? Laughing

) than the "man" of the place.

I'm new here too. I managed to get off two posts, but am still trying to figure out how to negotiate the email reply system. Oh, well. . .I guess it just takes practice.

I have no pets at present. I lost my baby boy Toby, a cocker spaniel last year in his 16th year. I am now looking again for another cocker. I have lots of animals nearby for furry friend companions - deer, cats, dogs, racoons and a few little things in the food pantry that visit without permission.

I'm in Duncan, British Columbia - the western part of Canada. You might already know that, but I mention it as I get asked a lot to tell people where BC is.

I have always cared for and loved animals. What breaks my heart is reading how cruel some people are to them. It just blows my mind to see the little faces and to wonder what kind of a turd could possible hurt them. So. . .I'm also here to learn more about animal rescues and possibly fostering, but all that is for after I find a dog for meself. I have my eye on one in Kansas - wish me luck with the adoption!

Hello to all you other newbees out there and to the folks who have been around a while rescuing those who can't help themselves.

its now 2 meet u as well. u sound like a very nice person. im sorry 2 hear about ur dog and i hope the adoption goes well! yeah i dont like it when people r mean 2 animals either. how cruel can humans get these days?? its awful! well b sure 2 let me know how everything went with the new dog!
