I note that most people said they pick up but the poll tells me that most voted to mow! Now let's be honest people. I will be, I mow it-- but she only goes in one corner of the yard and I try to get her to go under the trees where no grass grows. Plus it rains a lot here so it goes-- back to nature--pretty quickly, I have a big yard too.

Hubby is a stickler for picking up. Me, slightly less so, but still a pick it up kinda person. But we have both owned large breeds, and back in the day we didn't know about nutrition and fed bad foods.

Eww, I know what you mean, I used to dog sit my friend's Basset, she fed him Iams and Pedigree-- his poops lasted forever, they would get snowed on, then still be there when the snow melted like months later-- it was weird for me cause my dogs poops always "melted away" really quickly. We told him he had nuclear poo. His got the snowshovel treatment to get them out of the yard.

Nice thread by the way... I feel real close to ya'll.

I can never be sure when my FIL is coming to mow, so I never get a chance to pick up 1st. He says don't bother, the mower will pick it up.

I still try to go out there every week and pick up what he missed.

I mow over it. But, my dogs generally go in the "forest" where there is no grass anyway. It's all pine needles/straw and I rarely ever pick it up from that area. It's not bothering me so it can stay Wink
