We are a local foster home based rescue.<br/><br/>Saffron is a tender hearted gentleman who will melt your heart with just one look. He is a happy boy who thinks everyone is wonderful. Saffron knows how to relax and enjoy the moment and he will be very happy with someone who recognizes the beauty in the little things....just like him. He can be independent and takes naps while his people are away from the home but his dream is to belong to a family that will include him in their adventures. <br/><br/>Saffron is respectful when meeting other dogs and would be fine with a canine companion that is calm and respectful. He doesn't seem to mind cats and would likely be ok sharing his space with one. Young children can be quick and unpredictable, therefore, we are asking for a home without children under 10 years of age. Saffron loves going for walks and is well behaved on a leash. He is housebroken.<br/><br/>Saffron recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. While in our care he had surgery for cherry eye repair, a dental with extractions and neuter surgery. Saffron is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. He is 10 years old and weighs 21 pounds.<br/><br/>Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog.
