We are a local foster home based rescue.<br/><br/>Nani is a lovely girl who makes friends wherever she goes. She is calm, quiet and enjoys the comforts of home. Nani would love a family that will include her in their adventures. Whether it's going to the local coffee shop or being cozy on the couch Nani is happy as long as she is with her people. Nani enjoys going for walks and has good leash manners.<br/><br/>Nani has lived with other dogs and would be fine with a canine companion possessing the same respectful demeanor that she possesses. We don't know if she has any cat experience but she is so gentle that we think she would be fine with proper introductions. Because of the quick and unpredictable nature of young children we are asking for a home without children under 8 years of age.<br/><br/>Nani recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. She was spayed and had three mammary masses removed. The masses were benign, completely excised and should prove curative. Nani is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is 9 years old and weighs 48 pounds.<br/><br/>Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up their dog.
