Interested in developing on top of Petfinder's platform? Have an idea for an innovative application that will share adoptable pets with the world? A mobile app to help adopters find shelters near them - or maybe just a cool widget or game for blogs or social networking sites? We've opened up our API so developers like you can help us get more pets adopted. Below, you'll find everything you need to achieve your goals.

NOTE: The API is currently in beta testing. We are accepting a limited number of requests for keys that will allow read-only access to our database of adoptable pets and animal welfare organizations. To report a bug or provide other feedback, please send an e-mail to api-beta@petfinder.com and we will respond as soon as we can.
