When is the contest?
The Contest begins on November 12, 2008, and the entry Submission Period ends on November 27, 2008. The People's Choice voting period begins on December 14, 2008 and ends on December 19, 2008.
Who can enter?
Any legal U.S. resident who is 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and has Internet access as of November 12, 2008, may enter.
How do I enter?
Visit www.petfinder.com/thanksgivingtails to access the Contest entry page. Complete and submit the online entry form with your story and photo. Completed entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on the last day of the Submission Period to be included.
How often may I enter?
There is a limit of one entry per person/email address, per day. Each entry must be original and unique an meet all requirements set forth in the Rules.
What are the prizes?
One (1) Grand Prize: Pet Hair Eraser® Upright Vacuum - $169.99 value, SpotBot® Pet Compact Deep Cleaner - $139.99, OxyGen2® Cleaning Formula- $6.99 value, 3-pk of Pet Odor & Stain Removal Formula - $16.99 value

When and how will the winners be selected?
Winners will be chosen by visitors to Petfinder.com during the People's Choice Voting Period (dates listed above) and will be announced on December 17, 2008.
How will I know if I've won?
The winners will be contacted by email after the People's Choice Voting period. What are my chances of winning?
Your chances of winning a prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

How many people can enter the contest?
The contest has an ongoing registration, so it is difficult to say, but there is no maximum number.
Why is the contest only available to US residents?
Different rules and regulations associated with games of chance in other countries make it difficult to administer contests and games outside the United States.
What should I do if I can't reach the Contest Web pages when I try to visit?

I'm having trouble entering the Contest. My computer seems to be too slow or times out repeatedly. What should I do?
From time to time, the Internet experiences heavy periods of traffic. The slowdown in the registration process is often caused by a large number of consumers trying to enter the Contest at the same time. If you are experiencing "time-outs" while trying to register, we suggest that you wait a few minutes or try again at a later time.

No, the Contest is equally accessible through Macs and PCs.
