Administrator: The administrator of the "BISSELL® Adopt a Shelter Cat Month SpotBot® Pet" Sweepstakes is Petfinder LLC, P.O. Box 16385, Tucson, AZ 85732 ("Administrator").
To Enter: The Sweepstakes begins on June 3, 2009 and ends on July 1, 2009. To participate in the Sweepstakes, go petfinder.com/contest/bissell and complete the registration process. All required information must be provided for entry to be valid. Information collected is subject to the Administrator's Privacy Policy. By participating in the Sweepstakes, winner consents to the release of his or her personally identifiable information as part of the winners list, which may be posted on the Petfinder.com Web site. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned, and become the exclusive property of Administrator. Entries must be received by 11:59pm EST on July 1, 2009 to be valid. By submitting an entry, the entrant accepts these Official Rules and agrees to be bound by them. Only one entry per person or per valid email address. Online entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. No faxed, photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted. Illegible or incomplete entries, as determined by the Administrator, will be disqualified. Administrator is not responsible for undeliverable, late, illegible, incomplete, or misdirected entries, or for mechanical errors, typographical errors, computer malfunctions, display viewing problems, faulty transmissions, or network errors during the submission of your entry or the hosting of the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute regarding the submission of an online entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account.
Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open to the general public. Entry is limited to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States and who are 18 years of age or older. The following persons are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes: (a) employees and officers of any organizations directly involved with this promotion; (b) employees of the Administrator, their affiliates and subsidiaries; and (c) immediate family members and persons living in the same household as the persons identified in (a) and (b) above. Only authorized entrants logging onto the Internet from within the United States are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Administrator reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entry if they conclude that the entrant has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or has acted in violation of these Official Rules or any applicable state, federal, or local laws or regulations.
Odds of Winning: Odds of winning will depend on number of eligible participants.
Prizes:
One (1) BISSELL SpotBot® Pet Compact Deep Cleaner. Actual retail value $129.99.
One (1) years supply of Pet Stain & Odor Remover™ formula. Actual retail value $34.00.
One year's supply is equal to six (6) 32-ounce bottles of Pet Stain & Odor Remover formula and two (2) 32-ounce bottles of Oxy Gen 2® formula.
Prize winner has no right of substitution. Prize is non-transferable, not assignable and not redeemable for cash.
Winner Selection Notification: Winners will be selected by Administrator by random drawing held on or about July 8, 2009 from all eligible entries received. The winner of the Sweepstakes will be notified by Administrator, who will send an email message to the email address provided during the entry process ("Winner Notice"). The Winner Notice will also include information on how the winner can claim his/her prize, and will also include a liability and publicity release and affidavit of eligibility. The prize must be claimed by the winner no later than 7 days after receipt of the Winner Notice. Failure to claim prize may result in forfeiture of the prize, and selection by Administrator of an alternate winner, who will be selected by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries. Unclaimed prizes will be redrawn and awarded. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winner or award prize, or for any late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts of winner to claim prize.
General Conditions: By entering this Sweepstakes, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Administrator and Sponsor on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes, which shall be final. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants and winner consent to the use of their names, addresses, likeness, and any statements they make in connection with the Sweepstakes or about Sponsor and Administrator in general without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
Winners are responsible for any taxes applicable to the receipt of any prize.
Limitations Of Liability: By entering the Sweepstakes, participants agree to release Administrator, and their affiliates, parents and subsidiaries, and their respective employees, agents, officers, principals and representatives (collectively, "Collective Releasees") from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to person or property that may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of a prize or with participation in this Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that no claim relating to such injuries, damages, or losses shall be asserted against any of the Collective Releasees. Entrants agree that none of the Collective Releasees shall be liable for any injury or damage to any person's computer hardware, software, or peripherals utilized in participating in the Sweepstakes. None of the Collective Releasees are responsible for technical, hardware, software, or other communication failures of any kind, whether caused by any of the Collective Releasees, users, or by any equipment, programming, or other cause, whether or not such failures limit an entrant's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. If for any reason (including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes), the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as described in these Official Rules, Administrator shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes.
Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, or who has acted in violation of these Official Rules or any applicable state, federal, or local laws or regulations, or is acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, ADMINISTRATOR AND ITS AGENTS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE SUCH PERSON AND/OR SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
