He went missing on 11/16/09; we were given so many stories about who had him and saw him last. Someone took him from our street where he got out...He ALWAYS comes home and if Strangers try to "help" him he will be scared and panic and will bite. Harley was just groomed and had red bows put on Monday morning. He Does Not have tags. He ran out about noon. After an hour he was no longer seen where he last was on our block in a neighbor's yard. Our neighbors are used to him and know Harley. 2 woman were spotted with him and 1 of them stated she works for P.A.W.S Rescue... Gave very little detail. ID: 160335 Zeppelinposted — 11-13-2009 Domestic Medium Hair - gray and white Young, Male My cat as well as many other pet cats on my block and in vincinity of my home were lured with open cans of food into a neighbors trap who admitted to driving two towns away and 'Dumping' them in a parking lot of the Sands Beach Club in Lido Beach. We followed her and she pointed out the location where she's dumped 20-30 family pets in the neighborhood. This area is tremoundous and is 100 yards from the Atlantic Ocean. It neighbors the Lido Beach Towne House Condo, that has more than 300 units. We reached out to rescue groups and have 2 traps and we caught a cat that was stolen and returned her to her family. We will post Found cats as we are trapping. Four families have pressed criminal charges of theft and illegal trapping with the police and we reported this to SPCA, we received calls from local new and Newspapers who want to help by covering this horrific act of inhumane cruelty to family pets. We may also end up trapping Ferals, so we will post for adoption as well. We are reaching out to organizations on Facebook that have advised us to place flyers and we are doing all we can.
