Being a wake up genius is lonely work. Often, you have to go at it by yourself because it’s risky, with uncertain outcomes.
This morning, however, I had an unknowing accomplice – Pugsley!
Pugsley snores. And he’s not dainty about it. This morning, he was snoring on the pillow next to the female staff. How that did not wake her up, I have no idea.
But I didn’t spend time pondering this and got right to work. I jumped up on the bed on the other side of the staff’s head and nuzzled the top of her ear. Nothing. Then, put my wet little nose IN her ear and nuzzled. She made some noise and then rolled over.
That’s when things got interesting. Pugsley not only snores but he snorts and sneezes in his sleep too. Just as the staff rolled over to get away from my nuzzling, Pugs did his sneeze/snort thing and sprayed sneeze juice right into her face!
OMG it was beautiful! She wasn’t happy but, for once, it wasn’t because of me!
And, BREAKFAST was on the way! Go Pugsley!
