Bristol slips through an iron gate — by Leesa in Germantown, TN

Bristol is a one year old Beagle/Hound mix. She is quite a sweety, albeit not that bright. When she catches one scent and follows it another jumps up and takes her mind off of the initial. This vicious
cycle prevents her from realizing she is not at or near home.

After being let out of the house for a bathroom break, Bree slipped through a wrought-iron gate. The family searched all over the neighborhood and surrounding areas for hours to no avail. We placed ads in the local papers, activated the lost pet function on HomeAgain’s website and updated our social media status with her picture. The Lost and Found Pets of the Midsouth Facebook group was so helpful.

Bree was found that evening by a family about 2.5 miles away, across a very busy street. This wonderful family took her to the local animal shelter to have her scanned. My Facebook page and email began to alert me. Yay!

My dog was lost noon on a Wednesday and was back home by noon Thursday thanks to her HomeAgain microchip!
