Only two months into my tenure as director of development for the Petfinder.com Foundation, I have repeatedly witnessed the magic of being on the receiving end of one of our grants. Below is one such example:
The Petfinder.com Foundation has awarded more than $10 million in grants since 2010 to thousands of shelters and rescue groups -- with more than 95% of those funds going directly to helping homeless pets.

Lucy found a home thanks in part to a Petfinder.com Foundation grant to Braxton County Animal Shelter.
Meet Goldie, a vivacious dog rescued from a truck stop in West Virginia. Thanks to Braxton County Animal Shelter and a grant from the Petfinder.com Foundation, Lucy was transported to the Northeast, where she found her forever home.
