The Petfinder.com Foundation funded a trailer for the International Fund for Animal Welfare, with which IFAW is helping pets impacted by the recent Southern storms.
The 36-foot truck the Petfinder.com Foundation bought for IFAW was among the first to respond. Arriving the afternoon of May 4 in Memphis, TN, the truck and its staff set up camp at an emergency shelter for animals affected by the floods.
IFAW and the Petfinder.com Foundation will provide transportation, food and shelter to these now homeless pets. The team in Tennessee has already assisted
with the rescue of 70 dogs.
