Suzy's arthritis didn't stop her from sneaking out a door left open.
Here's another great found-pet reunion story from our partner, HomeAgain.

Contractors Left the Door Open - from Dinah in Sacramento, CA
I'm currently having some work done in my house. This afternoon, the workers left the front door open and my dog Suzy wandered out.

She is 15 years old and very arthritic, but that didn't keep her from exploring (although you might think that it would!). I was completely beside myself when I realized she had escaped. I put ads on Craigslist and searched my neighborhood in my car.

Then at 9:00 in the evening I called HomeAgain, who sent out a Lost Pet Alert e-mail. Within two hours I received a call that someone had found my Suzy.

The number I had on her tag was outdated, but the people who found her knew to contact HomeAgain because they had received the Lost Pet Alert in an e-mail.

What a great service! I went to get Suzy and I was so happy to see her! Thank you neighbors and HomeAgain!
