Everyone stops to ask "What is she?" when Molly goes for a romp in the dog park. She is an 11-lb. bouncy blonde with pantaloons, a fluff of a tail she holds high, and crooked, wispy ears. Since Molly is a determined little digger, her pregnant owner worried she would get loose and get hurt once the owner was unable to keep a constant eye on her. The owner didn't want to burden the local shelter, so went looking for a new home for Molly. That's when Molly came to me.
People have suggested she's mixed with everything from long-haired Chihuahua to Papillon to Lhasa Apso.
She's a Jack
Russell-type mouser in the tall grass of my farm fields, but acts
like a mom to four-week-old foster kittens and wrestles gently with my
pet cats.
I was glad to have the opportunity to have her screened with the donated Canine Heritage Breed Test so I would have something to offer her many admirers. What do you think Molly's background might be?
